Red Lobster Cheese Biscuits

Photo credits: taken from google images (michaelscomments.wordpress.com)

Everyone who tries these cheese biscuits says that they taste just like Red Lobster's! They are ahuge hit everytime I make them, not to mention, they are super fast and easy to make!

Cheese Biscuits

2 cups Bisquick
2/3 cup milk
3/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/4 cup butter
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dried parsley (opt.)

In a mixing bowl combine bisquick, milk, cheese and garlic. Stir mixture until well combined.

Drop dough by tablespoonfuls (my cookie dough scoop is the perfect size) on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

In a small bowl melt butter in the microwave. Stir in garlic powder and parsley. Brush mixture over biscuits as soon as they come out of the oven. Cool a few minutes on the baking sheet, then serve warm.

Thx for your great recipes. I look forard to trying them. I've attempted to follow your directions for printing a recipe that's on your left side bar. I clicked on the actual recipe title, however, I don't see a button that says "print this recipe." Pls help!

I have a recipe for these that's in the Betty Crocker cookbook my mum gave me when I got married years ago. This recipe is very similar. I'm gonna have to try it! Thanks for sharing it!!

Ok, so I have been wanting this recipe forever!! I was so excited when you posted this haha. I made them lastnight & they were amazing!! I did make a couple changes though & they tasted exactlythe sameas red lobsters!! I had went to RL main... page and it said that the recipe was top secret, but they would give a hint to one of the secret ingredients....which was Baking soda. I saw that this recipe ^ did not have baking soda.Soooo, I was thinking about it & red lobsters biscuits have like a zingy taste to them.....which baking soda has. Well I added like 1 1/2 tsp....I quaded (4) the butter, garlic, parsly part though....( so i would add the baking soda to taste) and I doubled the recipe part. I also added about 1/4 tsp salt to the dough. I made extra butter sauce & spread some on the pan that the biscuits went on...cooked them & then spread butter sauce on them while hot....if they sit about 5 min. the sauce makes them crispie like...like they were fried!! Needless to say, they were amazing & a big hit!!. Ihad my family over....they go good with pot roast dinner :)
